What is the actual difference between ME-QR and Graklink?

ME-QR gives away dynamic QR codes at a scale nobody else matches: ten thousand QR codes on the free plan, unlimited scans, no expiry. The free plan is supported by advertising, and the free QR codes carry advertising. Their pricing table says it in three words, “All QR codes with ads.” Someone scans your table tent, and before they reach your menu they meet an ad page that ME-QR sold.
Graklink’s dynamic QR code costs $7.99 once.
It redirects to the destination you choose without an advertising interstitial. Destination editing, unlimited scans and basic counts are included.
You’ve put the booking QR code on the card to make arranging a visit easy. Test how directly a scan takes your customer to the calendar.
Do ME-QR codes keep working if you stop paying?
Yes.
ME-QR’s FAQ says QR codes remain valid after unsubscribing. Cancellation changes the advertising experience rather than deactivating the redirect.
Here is what does change, again in their words: “If I cancel my subscription, will ads appear on the QR codes I created in my Premium account? Yes, you can use QR codes without ads only with a Premium subscription.”
When the paid subscription ends, ads return. Keeping a QR code ad-free therefore means keeping the qualifying subscription.
What does ME-QR really cost without the ads?
As of July 2026, from their pricing page:

Two things in that table are easy to read past.
The Lite plan removes ads from one QR code. Not one at a time, not one per month: one, in total, by their own plan table. Every other QR code you make on Lite still carries ads. The plan that actually delivers “my QR codes, no ads” is Premium, at about $181 a year billed yearly, or $336 a year if you pay monthly.
When is ME-QR the better choice?
When free editing matters more than the scan experience, ME-QR offers something we do not.
Our free QR code is static: the encoded address stays fixed. ME-QR’s free QR codes can be repointed and carry advertising. If editing is essential and your budget is zero, that is a useful difference.
Consider where the QR code will appear and how people will use it. A direct route to a menu or booking calendar may matter more than having thousands of unused QR codes in an account.
What happens to each QR code years from now?
Under the plans described here, ME-QR requires a qualifying paid subscription to keep QR codes ad-free. Its Premium annual rate is about $181 a year.
A purchased Graklink QR code includes destination editing, unlimited scans and basic counts. If a service you use closes or your page moves, update the destination. The QR code stays the same.

Which is better for a printed QR code, ME-QR or Graklink?
It depends on what you are protecting. If you want a free dynamic QR code and your scanners tolerating an ad page is acceptable, ME-QR's free plan does something we do not offer, and that is a real advantage. If the QR code is going on something printed that represents your business, the question is what a customer meets between the scan and your page. With Graklink that is nothing: a direct redirect, no interstitial, forever.
Does Graklink have a free plan?
Graklink offers a free static QR code with no account required. Its encoded address stays fixed, although you can update the contents of a page you control. Graklink’s dynamic QR code adds destination editing and basic scan counts without advertising.
