My QR code will not scan

Check that the code has strong contrast, clear space around all four sides, and enough size for the viewing distance. Try the original download on another screen or print. If it works there, check the printed surface for glare, blur, or curvature. Attach a photo to your ticket so support can see the problem.

A QR code or short link opens the wrong destination

Open the QR code or short link in your dashboard and check its saved destination. Copy the full destination into a browser to check the page itself. Include the Graklink address and the destination you expected in your ticket.

I cannot sign in

Sign in with the email address associated with your purchase and use the latest code from your inbox. Check spam if the message is missing. If you cannot access that inbox, submit a support ticket using an email address you can access. If you cannot write from the purchase address, provide limited proof in your ticket: the purchase receipt number, approximate purchase date and amount, the QR code or link address, and the last four card digits when relevant. Never email a full card number or a sign-in code. Graklink verifies the request, notifies the current purchase address, then makes an approved account change. Support verification does not change your account or grant access to it.

I have a billing question

Open Plan and billing in your dashboard to review your plan. For a payment question, include the receipt number, approximate date, and amount in your ticket. Never include a full card number or sign-in code.

An analytics result looks unexpected

Check the selected dates, QR Codes or Short Links selection, and any item filters. Read the availability and measurement notes next to the result. Include the view name, date range, item address, and what you expected in your ticket. A screenshot can help support reproduce the issue.

I need to report a security issue

Do not include credentials or exploit details in an ordinary ticket. Report a vulnerability to security@graklink.com or a dangerous redirect to abuse@graklink.com, including the affected address and a brief description.

How do I export Track data?

Open the Analytics view you need, choose its period and filters, then select Export data at the top. The dialog shows the scope, included tables and a preview.

Choose an Excel workbook for separate worksheets, a CSV dataset for one table, a CSV bundle for multiple tables with context, or JSON for structured data. Print and Download PDF produce a report for reading or sharing.

The Export section prepares inventory files and an inventory and support archive. The archive contains attachment details, not attachment files or a complete account backup. Its scope is separate from inventory filters.

These exports contain the datasets named in the dialog. They are not a ledger of every individual scan or click. Detailed source observations and retained aggregates have different coverage and retention; do not expect an event row for every count in a chart.

If a download fails, discard the incomplete file and try again. Contact Support with the view, period and format if it continues.

Can I upgrade my random address to a custom one?

Open the QR code’s Details tab and use the address upgrade action. The availability check and checkout show the applicable price. Standard personalized addresses start at $1.99 once; premium tiers cost more. Grow includes standard addresses, not every premium name.

An upgraded QR address retains the previous address as an alias so existing prints continue to work. Use the new address on future prints. Retirement, safety and legal restrictions in the Terms still apply.

Can I put my logo in the QR code?

Upload your logo in the designer. Custom design, including logos and frames, is $4.99 once per QR code unless already included through its design entitlement or Grow. Later customization changes on that QR code do not incur the charge again. Basic colors and styles are included.

Error correction and artwork checks help preserve readability, but a logo can still make a small or poorly printed QR code harder to scan. Test the final file at its intended size and placement.

I lost my file. Can I download my QR code again?

Open the QR code’s Downloads tab to download its available PNG or SVG artwork again without a repeat download charge. Check that you are downloading the saved design; a generated preview is labeled as such. Print a proof and scan it before ordering a larger run.

Can I change the design of an existing QR code?

Open the QR code’s Design tab and choose the design editing action. Its address stays fixed while you change the artwork, so existing prints continue to use that address.

Basic colors and styles are included. Custom design costs $4.99 once for a QR code without that entitlement. Once purchased, later customization changes for that QR code are included; Grow also includes eligible QR design customization. Wait for save confirmation and download the new artwork for future prints.

Do I need an account or password?

The free basic static QR generator does not require an account. Dashboard access uses an emailed six-digit sign-in code, without a Graklink password. Buying a product creates or uses your account; a purchase started while signed in belongs to that account.

Signing in alone does not grant paid products, included-link creation or Track trial eligibility. Your purchase confirmation explains how to access the item.

Do you track the people who scan my QR code?

Ordinary QR/short-link activity records scans and clicks, not a list of identified people. Data can include time, approximate location, device categories and referring source. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the activity analytics; network-based audience estimates use pseudonymous signals and can be affected by shared or changing networks.

Optional measured experiments can use a customer-scoped browser identifier and a signed destination receipt under the configured privacy policy. Consent dialogs are off by default; measurement requiring consent is excluded without a supported consent path. We do not sell customer analytics. See our Privacy policy for providers, cookies, connected data and visitor choices.

Does my QR code ever expire?

A purchased dynamic QR code has no subscription expiry or scan-volume cap. Ending a subscription does not deactivate a purchased Graklink QR code.

This does not prevent retirement after an item refund or account deletion, safety enforcement, valid legal action or an outage. The destination website can also become unavailable. Ownership lasts for the lifetime of the service. Included short links have separate inactivity rules; see the item’s status and the Terms.

Does the Track trial auto-renew?

No. Your 30-day Track free trial starts only when you activate it in the dashboard, requires no credit card and ends automatically. It never becomes a paid subscription unless you choose one.

Activate it once your QR code is deployed or short link is shared so you have activity to measure. An eligible owned product and unused trial eligibility are required. Grow already includes Track.

A paid Track or Grow subscription is different: it renews automatically until canceled. Billing shows the price, period and cancellation controls.

An email never arrived (sign-in code, receipt, confirmation).

Check spam first; the first email from a new sender often lands there. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, so request a fresh one. Still nothing after a few minutes? Write support@graklink.com from the address in question and we’ll check delivery from our side.

Where should I start with Track?

Start with one QR code or short link and one question you want to answer, such as which placement brings more visits to your website.

  1. Give the QR code or short link a name you will recognize later. Check its destination and record its placement. Use a separate item for each placement you want to compare.
  2. Open Business goals under Track. Confirm your business context and add a goal that describes the result you want, its measure and the period you will evaluate. This context helps Track interpret results and recommendations.
  3. Open Analytics → Summary for the overall change. Use Performance to compare individual items and Audience for estimated reach, locations, technology and activity timing.
  4. Use Attribution to review how activity is grouped by tracking information. Choose an item under Tracking settings to open its detail Tracking tab. The return action brings you back to Attribution.
  5. Use Outcomes for connected website results. A GA4 connection is needed for that evidence; it is not required to measure QR scans and short-link clicks.

An account without recorded activity has nothing to compare yet. Check that your item is active and points to the intended destination. After it receives activity, allow processing to finish and check that the selected period, product and filters include that activity. Repeated checks by you are not a reliable estimate of your audience.

You can submit a support ticket at any point. You do not have to complete the help articles first.

How big should I print my QR code?

Rule of thumb: printed width should be at least one tenth of the scanning distance. A QR code scanned from 30 cm (a business card in hand) works at 3 cm wide; a poster scanned from 3 meters needs about 30 cm. When in doubt, bigger; and leave a quiet white margin around the QR code.

How do I buy a QR code?

Use the homepage builder to choose static or dynamic, enter a destination and select your artwork. The basic static download is free. For a dynamic QR code, review the price and proceed to Stripe checkout.

Wait for purchase and creation confirmation before printing the final QR code. If processing is still pending, check the existing order or contact Support instead of paying again. Buying does not start a Track trial.

How do I cancel Track?

Open Billing in the dashboard and use the subscription management action. Review the cancellation confirmation and effective date. Paid access normally continues through the current paid period, without a prorated refund.

Canceling Track does not stop your QR redirects or permanent short links. Grow cancellation also preserves existing redirects and published pages, but unvested items can lose editing access. Review Grow’s item consequences before confirming.

How do I change my account email?

Dashboard → Account settings → Account email. Enter the new address, confirm the 6-digit code we send there, and everything follows: QR codes, billing, receipts. Your old address gets a 72-hour undo link as a safety net.

How do I change where my QR code points?

Open QR Codes, select your item, then open its Destination tab. Enter the new URL, save and wait for confirmation. Purchased dynamic QR codes include destination changes. The same Destination tab manages an editable short link.

Changes normally reach redirects after a short cache refresh. If an immediate scan still opens the previous destination, wait briefly and try again. If the saved destination is correct but the old destination persists, contact Support with the item and approximate save time. Check Rules as well: an active rule can intentionally send some visitors elsewhere.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings and the account deletion action. The email confirmation explains the affected QR codes, short links, hosted content and subscriptions. Normal deletion offers a 14-day window with an emailed restoration link. Immediate erasure has no undo.

Confirmation disables your items. Erasure remains pending until required cleanup completes; it is not a refund path. Retired addresses are not reassigned. Read the Privacy policy for retained legal records and the refund terms before confirming.

How do I sign in to the dashboard?

Enter your account email on the dashboard sign-in page and type the six-digit code we send you. A dashboard session normally lasts 30 days on that device unless you sign out or revoke it. Graklink does not use an account password. Keep your email account secure and never share a sign-in code.

I lost access to my email. Now what?

Losing access to your email does not itself deactivate your QR codes or links. On the sign-in verification screen, use Lost access to that email? if you previously configured a recovery email, then check that inbox.

If you cannot recover access, contact Support from an address you control and identify the account email. We will explain the verification needed before changing account access. Never send a password, full payment-card number or sign-in code. Recovery depends on verifying ownership; contacting us does not automatically transfer an account.

I bought a QR code with the wrong destination.

Open the purchased QR code’s Destination tab, correct the URL and save. Destination changes are included. Wait for save confirmation and a short cache refresh before testing again; existing prints keep the same QR pattern.

Is the free static generator really free?

Yes. Basic static QR codes download without an account or payment. The encoded destination cannot be changed after printing, and there is no Graklink redirect event to count. The destination website can still use its own analytics.

Choose a dynamic QR code if you need to update its destination or measure activity through Graklink. The builder shows the price of any paid customization before purchase.

My QR code won't scan. What do I check?

In order: (1) Contrast: dark QR code on light background scans best; the designer warns about weak combinations. (2) Size: at least one tenth of the scanning distance wide. (3) Margin: leave white space around the QR code. (4) Print quality: use the SVG for large prints. (5) Glare and curvature: flat, matte surfaces beat glossy or curved. Still stuck? Email a photo of the print to support@graklink.com and a human will diagnose it.

A QR code says 'retired by its owner.' What does that mean?

This address has been retired. Possible causes include an item refund, account deletion or reclamation under an included-link inactivity policy. Retired addresses are not reassigned to someone else.

If you own it and recently requested normal account deletion, use the restoration link during the 14-day window. Immediate erasure and other retirement causes do not share that undo path. Contact Support if you need help identifying what happened.

Someone registered my trademark as an address. What do I do?

Contact us and choose the report-abuse or rights concern that matches your request. Include the Graklink address, the trademark involved, your authority to act and supporting details. Do not include unrelated personal information.

We review the request and can ask for further evidence or contact the account holder. Reporting an address does not automatically transfer it to you. Our Terms explain acceptable use and legal restrictions.

Why is Track showing no activity or unavailable results?

First check the period, QR codes or short links selection, and any individual-item filters. Remove filters or choose a longer period if the activity you expect falls outside the current selection.

If the account or item is new, there may be no recorded activity yet. Check the destination and item status, then allow activity processing to finish. The dashboard’s refresh interval describes when it checks for results; it does not guarantee that every connected source has finished processing.

For website results, check the GA4 connection, selected property and last successful update. If the connection requires attention, use the available reconnect action. Reconnecting does not turn missing evidence into a confirmed zero.

If a request fails, use Retry where it is offered. Check your connection before repeating a save, and wait for confirmation before assuming a change was stored. For a failed download, discard an interrupted file and download it again.

If you still cannot find the expected result, submit a support ticket. Include the view, item name, period, expected activity and error message. Do not send passwords, authorization links, payment details or Google credentials.

How do goals, AI Insights and Reports work together?

Business goals stores the context and intended results you confirm. AI Insights uses available evidence and that context to suggest actions. Reports lets you revisit published analysis with its original period and scope.

Start with the recommendation’s supporting evidence. Check what changed, which items it covers and how that relates to your goal. A recommendation can be useful without establishing that one change caused the result.

Record what you did using the recommendation’s action controls. If advice is impractical, the goal has changed or the conclusion seems wrong, use the available feedback option. These responses help keep follow-up analysis relevant. Track supports follow-up evaluation at 7, 14 and 30 days; missing evidence can leave an evaluation inconclusive.

Track includes a weekly report. Scheduled reports begin within the supported feature-launch and entitlement period. They do not backfill periods before access began or periods between subscriptions. If no report is available, check your subscription, confirmed business context and reporting status. A newly configured account may not yet have the completed period or evidence needed for a useful report.

Additional on-demand reports have a separate purchase flow. Review the displayed scope and price before confirming. A payment authorization may reserve funds, but a failed or invalid generation must not become a completed charge. If a report or payment status remains unclear, submit a support ticket rather than starting another purchase to resolve it.

How should I read Track's results?

A scan is activity through a QR code. A click is activity through a short link. Track separates these products so you can compare the right items and measures.

Activity is not a count of people. One person can return several times. Audience estimates use the available measurement evidence; they are not a list of identified visitors. Technology describes the device that opened the destination, not proof of how a camera scanned a printed QR code.

Check the selected period and scope before comparing results. An increase beside a value compares it with the stated comparison period. Different breakdowns can describe the same activity: country, device and weekday totals should not be added together.

Zero means the available measure recorded no qualifying activity. Unavailable means Track cannot provide that measure. Partial means only part of the evidence is available. A missing comparison is not a zero baseline.

Website outcomes show results associated with your tracking. They do not establish that a QR code or short link caused a sale. Review the connected source and its update time before acting on recent website results.

For a report you can share, use Print or Download PDF. For calculations or further analysis, use Export data.

What analytics are included free?

Your QR code or short-link inventory includes basic activity counts without a Track subscription. These show recorded activity, not proof that the destination is healthy or a count of known people. Track adds period comparisons, audience breakdowns, connected website results and reports. A new item can have no recorded activity yet.

What can stop a QR code from working?

Ending a subscription does not deactivate a purchased Graklink QR code. Other conditions are separate: an item refund or account deletion can retire it; safety enforcement and valid legal or trademark action can restrict it; and outages or a broken destination can prevent a successful visit.

Check the item’s status and destination. If you believe a safety decision is wrong, use Support or Contact with the affected address. See the Terms for the complete conditions.

What does everything cost?

A dynamic QR code is $7.99 once, a permanent short link $4.99 once and a landing page $9.99 once. Basic static QR codes are free. Paid QR customization is $4.99 once per QR code, with later customization changes included. Basic colors and styles do not require that purchase. Personalized addresses start at $1.99; premium tiers cost more.

Track is $9.99/month or $99/year. Its separate eligible 30-day free trial starts on demand in the dashboard, with no credit card and no automatic conversion. Paid subscriptions renew until canceled.

Grow starts at $19.99/month for five QR code slots, five short-link slots and five landing-page slots, with Track, standard addresses and eligible QR customization included. Its monthly subscription price is capped at $299.99; premium addresses, separately purchased reports and other one-time purchases are outside that cap. See Pricing and your checkout for the applicable total.

What does Track add?

Track adds analytics for your QR codes and short links: period comparisons, individual-item performance, estimated audience, approximate locations, device categories, activity timing and attribution groupings. You can print, download PDFs and export the datasets shown in the dashboard.

Connect GA4 for supported website results. Confirm Business goals for relevant AI Insights and reports. Track includes a weekly report for eligible periods; extra on-demand reports are separately priced. Activity does not identify people or prove that a QR code caused a sale. Grow includes Track.

What file formats do I get?

A single purchased QR code comes with an SVG and a PNG. Download them at purchase, and later from the QR code’s Downloads tab, which keeps the saved artwork.

Send your printer the SVG when it accepts SVG files. The SVG is vector artwork, so it prints sharp at any size. Laser engraving and vinyl cutting need vector artwork like this.

Some printers accept PDF but not SVG. Vistaprint’s upload help, for example, lists PDF, AI, PSD and PNG among its file types but not SVG. Open the SVG in Chrome and choose Print. Set Destination to Save as PDF, then open More settings, set Margins to None and turn off Headers and footers. When we tested this, the PDF kept the QR code as vector shapes, so it stays sharp when resized.

Keep the PNG for screens and email. The PNG saved with a single QR code purchase is 300 pixels square, too small to print sharply at the 300 dpi that Vistaprint recommends, so send the SVG or the PDF for anything you print. A bulk order downloads a 1024-pixel PNG for each QR code and no SVG; that prints sharp up to about 3.4 inches wide, so contact us for larger bulk prints.

Ask your printer which file types it accepts before you order, and scan the printed proof before you approve the run. The print size guide explains more.

What is a dynamic QR code?

A dynamic QR code encodes a redirect address, such as grakl.ink/yourname. Graklink forwards the request to its configured destination. Editing the destination changes where existing prints lead after the saved change reaches the redirect.

A static QR code encodes its destination directly, so you cannot change the printed pattern’s URL through Graklink. The basic static generator is free. A purchased dynamic QR code starts at $7.99 once, without a subscription required for its redirect.

What is a recovery email and why set one?

A verified backup address that can sign in to your account if your main inbox is ever lost. Set it in Account settings while everything works; it takes a minute. If you lose your email WITHOUT one, recovery is still possible but slower: a human verifies ownership through your payment details.

What happened to bulk creation?

For multiple items, compare one-time purchases with Grow. Grow lets you choose an exact capacity from five slots of each type: QR codes, short links and landing pages. Track, standard addresses and eligible QR design customization are included. Premium addresses and separately purchased reports cost extra.

Items vest after 12 continuous calendar months in a slot. Release vested items when you want to reuse the slots; vesting does not release them automatically. One-time purchases remain an option. Read Pricing for prices, vesting and cancellation behavior.

Does Track have a five-QR-code limit?

Track has no five-QR-code analytics limit. It covers your owned QR codes and short links under the current account’s entitlement. Grow’s minimum is different: its smallest capacity is five slots of each product type. That is a creation-capacity choice, not Track’s analytics limit.

What's the refund policy?

One-time purchases have a 30-day money-back guarantee. An eligible first refund for a QR code with 10 scans or fewer can be completed from its detail view. Other requests, including heavier use or another refund on the account, go through Support for review. Use the displayed refund action or contact us within 30 days.

Refunding an item deactivates it and retires its address. Refunds for artwork or other add-ons are reviewed according to what was purchased. Do not delete your account to request a refund.

Paid subscriptions normally continue to the end of the paid period after cancellation. Ending Grow can remove editing access for unvested items; existing redirects and last published pages continue serving. Review the effective date and item consequences before confirming. The Terms explain the separate refund, cancellation and deletion processes.

Where's my receipt?

Check your purchase-confirmation email and your Billing records. Stripe handles payment receipts separately from Graklink’s item-access confirmation. If the receipt you need is missing, contact Support with the purchase date and amount. Do not send a full card number or security code.

Why are unique scanners 'approximate'?

Estimated scanners are not known people. Network-based measurement can group people sharing Wi-Fi or count one person differently when their network changes. Optional browser-based experiment measurement has its own eligibility and consent limits. Clearing browser storage or using another device can change the measurement.

Use the audience method and coverage shown with the results. Do not add estimates across incompatible periods or treat them as a customer list. See what Graklink measures.

My QR code was paused for safety. What happened?

A destination check flagged a possible threat, such as phishing, malware or unwanted software. The item may show a safety notice instead of redirecting. Screening helps detect known threats; it is not a guarantee that every destination is safe.

Open the alert’s Review destination action to reach the affected field. Check the URL and use a safe destination, or correct the problem on the destination site and request review. Wait for the dashboard’s confirmed result; a saved URL alone does not prove the safety issue was cleared. If you think the flag is wrong, contact Support with the address and notice.

Will my styled QR code actually scan?

The designer checks artwork and contrast to help catch readability problems. Those checks cannot reproduce every phone, print size, surface or lighting condition. Use dark modules on a light background, preserve the quiet margin and test the final file on more than one phone at its intended size.

If a QR code we designed will not scan, contact Support with the file or a photo of the print so we can help or handle a refund under the purchase guarantee.
