For a dynamic QR code you can buy individually, edit after printing and use without a subscription, yes. If you need QR codes generated inside a Shopify order workflow, QR Codes Unlimited has a dedicated app for that job. Shopify app listing

Those are different purchases. A shop owner putting one QR code on a window should not have to evaluate the same setup as a store generating a new QR code for each order.

Start with what you need the QR code to do. Compare the particular features you need alongside scan and QR code allowances.

What are you buying from each service?

QR Codes Unlimited sells a standalone service and a Shopify app, with separate pricing. Compare the plans separately: the free Shopify tier is not the standalone price. The standalone site also offers a lifetime billing option, so this is not simply one-time payment versus subscription. Standalone plans

A dynamic QR code, its destination edits and its basic scan counter. You can print a thousand copies of that same QR code without buying a thousand QR codes. Each copy opens the destination saved in your dashboard.

Put it on your window and point it at your booking page. If you move to a different booking service, replace the destination. The window sign stays where it is. You do not need an analytics plan to make that change, and there is no monthly edit allowance to watch.

A second QR code is useful when you want a separate destination or a separate count. Give the window and the takeaway card different QR codes if you want to know which gets scanned. Use the same one if a combined count does the job. Our placement comparison guide explains when separating them is worth it.

That is the purchase: control of the printed destination and a count of its use, without committing to an analytics plan.

When is the Shopify app the better fit?

When your requirement is to generate QR codes as part of processing orders, evaluate the app. That work goes beyond sending a visitor to a product page.

Graklink can open a public Shopify page just as it can open your booking form or menu. It does not currently supply the order automation. If that is the feature you need, a lower price for an individual QR code does not replace it.

The reverse matters too. You do not need a store integration to put a QR code on a counter sign. An ordinary destination address is enough.

Which should you choose?

If your requirement is order-generated QR codes or your own domain, those features matter more than the price of a single QR code. QR Codes Unlimited offers capabilities worth checking for that work.

For the shop sign, the booking card or the product insert you manage yourself, a purchased Graklink QR code gives you the edit and the counter with the purchase. There is no analytics subscription to keep merely because you still have signs in use.

Common questions

Is QR Codes Unlimited free?

The Shopify app has a free plan. The standalone website has separate paid plans with monthly, yearly and lifetime options. Check which product you are comparing.

Is Graklink cheaper than QR Codes Unlimited?

A single Graklink dynamic QR code is a one-time purchase, without a subscription. QR Codes Unlimited's Shopify app has a free tier, so Graklink is not the cheapest option in every comparison. The right price depends on whether you need one QR code, many QR codes or store automation.

Can I change a Graklink QR code after printing?

Yes. Change its destination in your dashboard and every printed copy follows the new address. Unlimited destination edits and scans are included with a purchased QR code.

Does Graklink work with a Shopify store?

A Graklink QR code can point to a public Shopify product or store page. Graklink does not currently offer a Shopify app that generates a QR code for each order.
