QR Planet review: pricing, features, and cancellation terms
ON THIS PAGE
QR Planet is a strong value if you need several dynamic QR codes, built-in landing pages, detailed design controls, and scan analytics in one account. Its published Starter price works out to $5 per month when paid annually and includes five QR codes plus five landing pages.
There are two terms to understand before buying. QR Planet does not offer monthly billing, despite showing prices as monthly fees. Its promise to keep paid QR codes working after cancellation also has conditions: you must have paid for at least a year, settled every invoice, and requested retention.
The deciding factor is what you need beyond the QR code itself. QR Planet sells a large bundled platform. A smaller campaign may be better served by buying individual dynamic QR codes.
QR Planet pricing
QR Planet offers a free account and three standard paid plans. Paid plans have a 15-day trial with no credit card required.
The pricing page defaults to annual payment and describes the figures as a monthly fee. The charge itself is annual. A quarterly option is available at the higher rate, and the minimum paid term is three months.
| Plan | Annual price shown per month | Quarterly price shown per month | QR codes | Landing pages |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | 1 |
| Starter | $5 | $6.25 | 5 | 5 |
| Premium | $15 | $18.75 | 100 | 50 |
| White Label | $35 + $5/user | $43.75 + $6.25/user | 250/user | 100/user |
| Enterprise | From $250/month | Quote | Custom | Custom |
In actual charges, Starter is $60 for a year or $18.75 for a quarter. Premium is $180 annually or $56.25 quarterly. At the annual rates, White Label totals $480 across a year for the base and one user. Its portal fee is paid in advance; user fees are charged afterward on the next invoice or at termination. QR Planet lists its prices before VAT.
The paid plans renew unless you cancel. QR Planet says it sends a reminder one week before the end of the billing period. Payment is made in advance, and cancellation during the current cycle does not produce a prorated refund after the stated 14-day withdrawal period.
What the free account includes
The free plan is useful for a small, low-traffic project. It includes one editable dynamic QR code, one landing page, design tools, and scan statistics. QR Planet says it does not put ads on the redirect.
The main limit is traffic. A free dynamic QR code is capped at 50 scans per day. The first overage triggers a notice. QR Planet says a second overage can temporarily deactivate the QR code or landing page until the account moves to a paid plan.
That is fine for testing a design or running a quiet personal project. For a menu, event poster, or product insert, a second day above the limit can stop redirection until the account upgrades. Paid plans remove the scan cap.
The free account is different from the 15-day trial of a paid plan. If a paid-plan trial ends without a subscription, QR Planet says the trial account becomes inactive and its QR codes stop working until the customer subscribes.
Where QR Planet is particularly good
QR Planet includes far more features than a basic URL-to-QR generator.
Its design tool supports logos, colors, templates, transparent backgrounds, frames, and print-ready exports. The pricing page lists PNG, SVG, EPS, and PDF output, including CMYK PDF for print work. That is useful for packaging and other jobs where a clean vector file matters.
The landing-page builder covers digital business cards, coupons, lead forms, social pages, product pages, and other mobile formats. Starter includes five landing pages, while Premium includes 50. Someone who wants the QR code and its mobile destination in the same system gets a substantial bundle.
The analytics are also capable. QR Planet documents real-time data for country, region, browser, operating system, device, and brand, with retention for up to five years. Its pricing page lists CSV and API exports, Google Analytics support on paid plans, retargeting pixels, scan email notifications, and URL monitoring.
Starter includes batch creation, five subaccounts, and an API allowance. Premium raises the QR code capacity to 100. White Label adds a custom domain, a branded platform, permissions, multi-tenancy, and webhooks. If you run QR services for clients and need your own branded interface, QR Planet has a clear advantage over Graklink today.
QR Planet cancellation terms
You can cancel in the Account tab and either close immediately or leave the account active until the paid billing period ends. Future renewals stop after that cycle.
QR Planet says paid QR codes can continue working after the subscription ends, but this is not automatic for every customer. Its current public wording requires all three of these conditions:
- You request retention.
- You have been a paid customer for at least one year.
- All invoices are paid.
The public pages do not clearly say that you keep destination editing, analytics, exports, or dashboard access after termination. They promise retention of the QR codes under the stated conditions. If continued editing matters, ask QR Planet to confirm the post-cancellation account state in writing before printing.
If you plan to rely on QR Planet’s retention policy, budget for a full paid year.
QR Planet vs Graklink
The better choice depends on the job. QR Planet sells a broad subscription platform. Graklink lets you buy each dynamic QR code once, with destination editing, unlimited scans, and basic scan counts included.
| What you need | QR Planet | Graklink |
|---|---|---|
| One low-traffic dynamic QR code | Free, with a 50-scan daily limit | $7.99 once, with unlimited scans |
| Five dynamic QR codes | Starter includes five, five landing pages, and its analytics for $60/year | Five separate one-time purchases |
| Destination editing | Included | Included with each purchase |
| Routing rules | Scheduled redirects; country-based multi-URL routing is listed for White Label | Time/day, iOS/Android, country, and percentage-split routing on dynamic QR codes |
| Scan reporting | Real-time scan dimensions, up to five years of retention, exports, and Google Analytics support on paid plans | Basic scan counts included |
| Landing pages | Many specialized page types included by plan | Hosted mobile pages available separately |
| Agency white label | White Label and Enterprise plans | Not a current Graklink offering |
| After billing ends | Retention is available on request after one paid year with all invoices settled | Canceling billing does not stop redirects for purchased QR codes |
A scan proves that a redirect request happened. It does not prove that someone placed an order, registered, or completed another goal. Outcome measurement needs evidence from the destination or a supported analytics connection.
For example, a restaurant could route one Graklink QR code to its lunch menu on weekday afternoons, its dinner menu later, and a default menu outside those periods. If the restaurant wants to compare scans from its front window with scans from table cards, it needs a separate QR code for each placement. Copies of the same QR code share one count.
Which should you choose?
Choose QR Planet if you want a large feature set inside one subscription. It is especially compelling when you need several landing pages, print-ready design exports, CRM or analytics integrations, subaccounts, an API, or an agency-facing white-label platform.
Starter gives a small team five dynamic QR codes and five landing pages for $60 per year, with unlimited scans. Premium makes sense when you need capacity for 100 active QR codes. The free plan fits a project that will reliably stay below 50 daily scans.
Choose Graklink if you need one or a few QR codes and want them to keep redirecting without maintaining a base subscription. QR Planet and Graklink both publish scheduling features. Graklink also lets one QR code send iOS and Android scanners to different places, route by country, or distribute requests across destinations by percentage. A percentage split controls traffic distribution. It does not by itself tell you which destination produced a better business result.
Common questions
Is QR Planet free?
Yes. QR Planet lists a free account with one dynamic QR code and one landing page. The dynamic QR code can be edited, but it has a limit of 50 scans per day. QR Planet says a second daily-limit overage can temporarily deactivate the QR code or landing page until you upgrade.
How much does QR Planet cost?
QR Planet displays annual prices as monthly equivalents: Starter is $5 per month, Premium is $15, and White Label is $35 plus $5 per user. Those are annual-plan equivalents, not monthly billing. White Label user fees are charged afterward. Quarterly billing costs more: $6.25, $18.75, and $43.75 plus $6.25 per user per month respectively, billed three months at a time. Prices are listed before VAT.
Does QR Planet bill monthly?
No. QR Planet says it does not support monthly billing. The minimum term is three months, and customers can choose quarterly or annual payment. Paid subscriptions renew unless canceled.
Will QR Planet QR codes work after cancellation?
QR Planet says paid customers can request continued operation after the subscription ends if they have been customers for at least one year and have paid every invoice. Its public pages do not clearly promise that destination editing, analytics, or dashboard access continues after termination.
Is QR Planet better than Graklink?
QR Planet is stronger for a bundled subscription with landing pages, advanced design exports, integrations, high QR code capacity, or a white-label platform. Graklink is a better fit for a few dynamic QR codes bought once, or for routing by schedule, device, country, and percentage split without making those QR codes depend on a base subscription.
